I weep every time we enter the Praza Obradoira and glimpse the Cathedral. Slow, quiet tears as I recall the words I heard at the Pilgrims mass the first time we walked in. It is a good thing you have done Pilgrim. I can not explain the joy I receive here or why these words are so significant.

Santiago is a beautiful city and an exciting place to be. It is full of fun, festivity, and merriment. I am reminded that I have accomplished something unique. My joy combines these things, but there is something more. It is a renewal of the concept that I can still achieve something magnificent. There is such a sense of accomplishment and the realization that I have defined that moment.

The walk-in was delightful, and I felt a mixture of both excitement and relief. It had been a challenging walk for many reasons, and I was looking forward to this moment and a little downtime. When I heard the bagpipes playing, my heart felt excited. It felt like it did the first time we walked in, and we both felt energized. We even talked about our next walk!

I am unsure how many more times we will have to walk the Caminos and enter the plaza this way, but I cherish these moments and will always carry them with me.
You are loved…
